Do I Need a Physical Place of Business to Apply for a Business License in WV?

Im Venturing into my First Legitimate Start Up and Have the Business Planned Out on Paper But have Yet to Find the Perfect Property to Lease. I Want to Apply for My WV Business License but the First thing on the Form is "Where is Your Business Located?" Can I Use My Home Address until I Get a Physical Location? Even My Local Score Counselors Arent Sure…. Thanks in Advance!

I’d put down TBA (to be announced) and get the paperwork at least started. If you have a mailing address use that first, then update the state as you get a physical store established.

Yes you can use your home as your business address. Check with West Virginia State Comptroller’s office when you go there to register your company with the state.
