How can I cash a check made out to my business name with no business bank account?
I have a DBA and have a check made out to my company name that I need to cash. I went to a bank to open a business account but they checked my credit and since Im still paying stuff off, they wouldnt open an account.
I have a personal checking account at a different bank but the check is made out to my company name, not my personal name.
Is there any way I can get this check cashed?

Take your business license and any other documentation you have for the DBA status to the bank the check is drawn on and they should cash it for you. You may have to talk to a manager.
If this doesn’t work, try taking the same documentation to your bank to deposit in your personal account. You may have to wait for the funds until the check clears, especially if it is drawn on an out-of-state bank.
Last resort, have the customer issue a new check in your name.
Try opening a business account at another bank ASAP.
there is no way
If you don’t want to pay a ridiculous fee at "Check Cashing" place, you ask the payor of the check to kindly issue another check made out to your name instead of the company. You can say that you are in the process of opening a bank account under the company name but you hadn’t gotten around to doing it yet. You return the check to them so that they can destroy it rather than having to make the stop payment (fee involved).
Some of the check cashing places are now taking business checks – you could try them.
Places like Money Mart, for instance.
