How to find out if the Business name you want is in use?
When naming a business that will eventually be a Sole Proprietor or Limited Liability? How do you find out if the Business name you want is already in use?
Look under your Office of Secretary of State and go under their business services.
If you are looking to register a domain for a website you can look under any domain registry such as GoDaddy.com, 1and1.com and Register.com
You may also want to check trademarks for some of the names if you are planning on using it nationwide. You should be fine if you use it locally.
