What is a good software for learning accounting?
I’m about to take on the challenge of minding my husbands business, and I am lost and clueless and don’t know where to turn for advice. I’m going to buy the quickbooks software, but I do not know how to use it or what I’m doing. Any suggestions?
Quckbooks provides some basic instructions, but they are limited. Your best bet is an introductory financial accounting textbook plus pencil and paper. Accounting is a complex field. You can learn some basics of recording assets, liabilities, capital, revenue, and expenses, but as you start undertaking transactions, things can get more complicated.
