What will be the scope of software engineering after 6 years from now?
If the scope of software engineering is not so good, then I would appreciate it if you could provide me with suitable alternatives in the computer field. Thanks!
P.S. I am looking for jobs with really high pay in the computer field.

There is a lot of money in database software, things like SQL and the like. (You can tell i don’t know much about it).
Also I think maybe "cloud" computing might come to the fore. Especially server apps. for 3g mobile phones.
Surely traditional apps loaded onto stand-alone PCs etc will be a thing of the past in a few years time?
