Where can I go online to register a business name?
I’m trying to find the websites I need to check to see if I am allowed to use the company names that I want to.
I’m not sure how it all works if its like domain names where only one person can have the domain name. Is it the same for business names?

You buy a trade name at the Secretary of States Office. Usually $10 and only 1 piece of paper to fill out. But if someone else already has the name you want, you have to choose a different name. Or find the person who owns the name in your state and have them release it to you. That is what i did..
